Microsoft Certification Training from Computer Learning Center

MOUS certification is the universally accepted standard assessment of desktop proficiency for the Microsoft office suite of applications. The MOUS program gives you proof you know how to use Microsoft Office applications efficiently and productively. Becoming a Proficient or Expert Specialist means you are more valuable to an employer, and more marketable as an employee.

Microsoft offers the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credential for individuals who pass designated exams for that certification.

Requirements for the MCSE are to pass four operating system exams and two elective exams from Microsoft's approved exam listing.

The operating system exams require candidates to prove their expertise with desktop, server, and networking components. The elective exams require proof of expertise with Microsoft BackOffice products.

The A+ Certification is sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), and certifies the competency of entry-level service technicians in the computer industry.

Anyone who wants an internationally-recognized credential as a competent entry-level computer service professional can take the A+ examination.

The program is backed by major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, resellers and publications.

Earning A+ Certification means that the individual possesses the knowledge, skills and customer-relation skills essential for a successful entry-level computer service technician, as defined by experts from companies across the industry.

The test covers a broad range of hardware and software technologies, but are not related to any vendor-specific products.

The two exams necessary for completion of the Certification are the Core/Hardware Exam and the DOS/Windows Exam. When both the Core/Hardware and the DOS/Windows portions are passed, the candidate receives the A+ designation.
